Key Features:

Blade design:

Shape: usually teardrop or shaving shape for easy cutting and skinning.

Material: commonly high carbon steel or stainless steel to ensure sharpness and corrosion resistance.

Knife handle design:

Material: mostly wood, antler, G10 or rubber, providing a good grip.

Shape: ergonomic, not easy to fatigue after long time use.

Size:

Length: blade length is usually between 7-15 cm, balancing flexibility and cutting efficiency.

 

Production Process

1. Material Selection
Blade: High carbon steel (e.g. 1095, D2) or stainless steel (e.g. 440C, VG-10). We will use our raw materials

Knife handle: wood, antler, G10, rubber, etc.

2. Design
Drawing design: Design the blade shape, length and handle style according to the usage.

Prototyping: Make prototypes and test them to make sure the design meets the requirements.

 

Production Process

1. Blank cutting
Method: Cutting blade blanks from steel plates using wire or laser cutting.

2. Rough grinding and molding
Steps: Roughly grind the blade with a belt sander or grinder to initially form the design shape.

3. Heat treatment
Hardening: Heating to critical temperature and then cooling rapidly to improve the hardness.

Tempering: Appropriate heating and cooling to reduce brittleness and increase toughness.

4. Fine grinding and polishing
Fine Grinding: Fine grinding of the knife edge with a fine abrasive belt or whetstone to ensure sharpness.

Polishing: Polishing the blade and handle to improve the appearance and rust resistance.

5. Knife handle production
Cutting and molding: Cut and mold the knife handle material according to the design.

Installation: Fix the handle on the knife blade, usually with rivets or glue.

6. Final Assembly and Inspection
Assembly: Install hand guards, sheaths and other accessories.

Inspection: Check the sharpness, balance and appearance to ensure quality.
