Industrial blades are important tools used in a wide range of industries including metal cutting, woodworking, plastic cutting, food processing, packaging material cutting and many more. They are designed to provide efficient and precise cutting performance with sufficient durability and strength to cope with a wide range of working conditions. The following is a brief overview of the manufacturing process and production flow of industrial blades:

Production process of industrial blades

1. Material Selection: The quality of industrial blades depends greatly on the material used. Commonly used blade materials include high-speed steel (HSS), tungsten carbide (tungsten carbide), ceramics and diamond, etc. Each material has its specific application scenarios and performance advantages,we used VG10(China),9Cr18MoV

2. HEAT TREATMENT: In order to improve the hardness and wear resistance of inserts, many inserts are subjected to heat treatment processes such as hardening and tempering. This helps to change the microstructure of the material and enhances its ability to hold a cutting edge.

3. Precision machining: High-precision machine tools are used to cut, grind and polish the blades to ensure dimensional accuracy, shape accuracy and surface finish. This step is crucial to ensure the cutting efficiency and life of the blades.

4. Coating technology: In order to improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and reduce the coefficient of friction of blades, many modern industrial blades use PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) or CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) technology to apply one or more layers of hard coatings to their surfaces.

5. Quality testing: This includes hardness testing, edge retention testing, corrosion resistance testing, etc. to ensure that each batch of blades meets established quality standards and customer requirements.

Production process of industrial blades

1. Raw material preparation: Select and prepare corresponding metal materials according to the blade design, such as HSS bars, carbide blocks, etc.

2. Unloading and roughing: Cut the raw material into the general shape of the blade by sawing or laser cutting.

3. Molding & Finishing: Precise molding and detail machining of the inserts, including grinding of the cutting edge, chamfering treatment, etc., by using CNC grinding machines, milling machines, etc.

4. HEAT TREATMENT & COOLING: Performs heat treatment programs based on material properties, followed by rapid cooling to enhance the hardness and strength of the material.

5. COATING APPLICATION: Surface treatment of blades requiring coatings, applying coatings using physical or chemical methods.

6. Final Inspection and Packaging: The blades are thoroughly inspected, including appearance, dimensions, performance, etc. After passing the inspection, they are cleaned, rust-proofed and packaged for shipment.

The whole production process requires strict quality control and technical management to ensure that industrial blades can meet the high standards of different industries.
